The role
As Landscape Gardener - Trade Assistant, you'll undertake a variety of landscape and civil tasks under the guidance of our Site Manager.

As Landscape Gardener - Trade Assistant, you'll undertake a variety of landscape and civil tasks under the guidance of our Site Manager.

Your every day
- Operating plant and equipment as directed by site management
- Assisting in the coordination of subcontractors and site management
- Helping manage materials and equipment on site
- Executing project work according to specifications, drawings, and contract documents
- Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of equipment
- Ensuring operations are conducted safely, adhering to the site management plan
- Identifying and assessing risks, documenting control measures for potential hazards
- Reporting any incidents, accidents, or injuries immediately
- Responding to emergencies during and outside working hours
- Training and mentoring other staff on site
- A supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Opportunities for professional development and skill advancement.
- A qualification in Landscape Trade or a similar field, with experience in a commercial landscaping environment
- VOC certification for relevant plant and machinery
- A valid driver’s licence
- A commitment to safety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality outcomes
