Job Position: Trade Assistant

Darwin Electric Motor Rewind is a locally owned and operated business in the Northern Territory, Australia provides services to the mining, oil and gas, and local industries, specialising in rewinding both low and high-voltage electric motors, generators, transformers (DC and AC) coils, and armatures, 0-2000Kw.
Tasks and Responsibilities
For the Job
· Cleaning of parts
· Picking up parts
· Spray painting the finished products
· Packing finished products
· Keeping workshop tidy
· Undertake other duties as directed by the Managing Director
For the Workplace
· Adhere to all of DEMR policies, including workplace health and safety, and proactively contribute in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
· Treat all staff and customers with respect – as you would expect to be treated yourself
· Help other team members regardless of their role
· Display a positive attitude and be active member of the team
Essential Criteria
1. Good written and verbal communication skills
2. Good understanding of and commitment to safe work practices
3. Ability and willingness to consistently follow instructions and procedures in line with ISO 9001 and AS/NZ 3800
4. Punctuality, reliability and willingness to be flexible
This role is responsible for the works at workshop as instructed.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
