Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking Theatre Assistants to join our Theatre team. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this faced paced and varied environment.
As a Theatre Assistant your responsibilities will include:
Delivering excellent service and care to patients
Maintain and clean theatre equipment
Assist in patient transportation to and from the Theatre complex
Liaise within a multi-disciplinary team
Ensuring patient and staff safety
Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices
Proven troubleshooting skills
Process organisational skills and complete documentation to a high standard
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Prior experience in a hospital environment (desirable)
Prior experience as a Theatre Assistant or Wardsman (desirable)
Flexibility to work a range of shifts
Working with Children check
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
