We’re looking for a dedicated Swimming Pool Compliance Officer to join our team in Regulatory Services and play a crucial role in enhancing swimming pool safety through our Council’s Swimming Pool Inspection Program. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and regulatory functions related to swimming pools, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards. You’ll tackle complaints and non-compliance issues head-on while actively increasing community awareness of swimming pool safety. Remuneration:
$79,228 - $91,738 per annum plus superannuation

About you:
To thrive in this role, you will need tertiary qualifications that allow for appointment as a Registered Swimming Pool Inspector under the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018 & Regulation 2020. Your strong understanding of key legislation, including the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, Local Government Act 1993, and Swimming Pools Act 1992 will be essential.
