Pool Attendants - Casual

Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking Casual Pool Attendants for the 2024/2025 Swimming Pool Season.
Weekly pay cycle
Salary range $33.67 - $39.69 per hour (includes casual loading) plus relevant penalties
ABOUT THE ROLE
The position, under direct supervision is responsible for the:

supervision of patrons
monitoring and testing of pool water quality, plant and equipment
cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
The criteria marked with a * is a requirement applicants must have prior to any offer of employment. Council is willing to assist with the fees associated with obtaining these qualifications.

Possession of Pool Lifeguard Licence and/or Statement of Attainment in Aquatic Management and/or equivalent/work related experience*
Must be 16 (sixteen) years of age*
Senior First Aid Certificate*
Working with Children Check*
Criminal Record Check*
Sound written and verbal communication skills
An understanding of WHS in an aquatic environment
