Delaware North Australia is hiring a STP Operator to join our Maintenance Team at Lizard Island Resort. As a STP Operator, you will play a vital role in managing and monitoring the Resort Sewerage Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant at our resort. In this vital role, you will help us deliver a premium customer experience in this amazing environment, ensuring our guests' comfort from arrival to departure. This is a "live-on" remote location role located on the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef, just over an hour's flight north east of Cairns.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain water and sewerage treatment plants in line with legislation
Record water usage, sample potable water, and replace chemicals as needed
Perform daily operations, maintenance, and repairs at the sewerage treatment plant
Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and testing requirements
Adhere to safety, environmental, and resort procedures, including cyclone protocols
