The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Program Assistant, Social Media and Communication APS 4 role in the Communications and Marketing Section of the Engagement Branch.
As the Program Assistant, Social Media and Communications you’ll help us connect with and grow our national audience online. The role engages with our online community through social media moderation (rostered) for the National Library of Australia and Trove social media channels.
Working in the Digital Community team in the Communications and Marketing Section, you’ll also support the delivery of social media campaigns and content. Responsibilities include social media content creation and scheduling, liaising with internal stakeholders to maintain the content calendar, and providing support services for the team.
We are looking for an adaptable team player who is open to learning new skills and contributing ideas. This role offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in Australia’s rich documentary heritage to promote the National Library of Australia’s collection and services.
The ideal candidate will have skills in rich media creation. Qualifications or equivalent experience in social media and/or digital marketing or a related field are mandatory.
