About MACq01 and Henry Jones Art Hotel
Nestled in the heart of the historic Hobart waterfront, you will find MACq 01 Hotel and the Henry Jones Art Hotel; a Federal Hospitality luxury collection that combines premium accommodation with immersive, unforgettable experiences. Throughout the halls and across the walls of both hotels, you'll find engaging pieces of history, art and stories that connect our guests to the beautiful state of Tasmania.
What you can expect in a day in this role:
As a Security Officer, you will help us create a safe and welcoming environment for our guests, with work primarily being across MACq01 and Henry Jones, Friday and Saturday nights between 8pm -1am.
There will also be the opportunity to work at our sister property Wrest Point in Sandy Bay, just 7 minutes south, when required.

What you will bring to the role:
A current Tasmanian Security Licence
Ideally, 2 or more years of Security experience in a Hospitality venue
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
You will also be required to hold:
Crowd Control Licence
Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
Tasmanian Gaming Special Employee Licence (or the ability to obtain this licence)
Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG)
