Some of your responsibilities as a Security Analyst will include:
- Assisting in the implementation and ongoing support of Australian Signals Directorate Cyber Security Essential 8 Framework within QSS.
- Identify threats and vulnerabilities, investigating risks and issues relating to cyber and information services providing advice on mitigation strategies and leading associated reporting to management and key stakeholders.
- Investigate and remediate penetration test and vulnerability scan findings in collaboration with other areas with QSS.
- Maintain an understanding of the end-to-end connectivity of cyber and information services being provided and the security risks associated with that service.
- Build collaborative relationships with the vendors and QSS teams associated with the cyber and information services provided by your team and strive for mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Contribute and support innovation and improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Actively promote a culture that supports and values staff.
