We are seeking a highly organised and efficient administration support to our Risk Management, Insurance, and Internal Audit streams. You will work closely with the Risk and Internal Audit Manager to assist in the;
Risk Management operations within the legislation framework, Australian standards and Council's policies and procedures to manage, monitor and create awareness to minimise risk
Co-ordination of risk management operations within the framework provided by State Legislation and policies, insurance law, the Australian Standard for Risk Management and Council’s own policies and priorities.
Reporting, documentation and compliance to allow Council to make informed decisions, improvement opportunities and develop appropriate strategies.
This role will also act as part of Council's Local Emergency Mangement Officer (LEMO) to support to the Local Emergency Management Committee and Local Emergency Operations Controller during emergencies within our local government area. You will be part of the Governance and Risk business unit who passionately provide risk and insurance management, Work Health and Safety management and Governance compliance across Council and external stakeholders. Permanent full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time
Commencing salary range from $73,161 - $77,639 per annum (dependent on skills & experience)
11.5% superannuation
