ABOUT CANNINGTON
Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead. Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.
Flights are direct to the onsite airport, and the mine is only 3.5 km from camp—the perfect distance for a sunset walk or run home along a purpose-built walking track. The onsite accommodation includes meal services, sports/gym facilities, swimming pool, music room, and social area.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 7:7 rotating Day/Night roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns direct to the onsite airport, or DIDO from Mount Isa.
As the Processing Operator, you will be responsible for running various fixed plant including crushing, grinding, floatation, filtration, reagents, paste and main control.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
Perform daily tasks like densities, samples, and cyclone rebuilds.
Monitor and address issues with the Citect control system.
Achieve and maintain safety and production KPI targets.
Follow instructions from control room, supervisors, and metallurgists, ensuring process stability and quality
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Previous experience in a similar role within a Process Plant
Commitment to safe working practices including participation in safety interactions and improvements
Operating mobile and fixed plant equipment such as forklift, bobcats, and gantry crane
Maintaining equipment in operational condition by conducting routine inspections and tasks
Ability to work effectively in a team and drive continuous improvement
Confined Space, Working at Heights and Group Isolations (beneficial)
