As the Principal Marketing Communications Officer within the Strategic Communications and Data Directorate, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies that positively impact work health and safety, electrical safety, workers' compensation, and industrial relations across Queensland.

Your key responsibilities:

Lead, develop, and evaluate awareness and engagement activities that support Queensland Government strategic priorities.- Provide expert advice on corporate communication and stakeholder management to senior leadership.- Inspire your team through coaching, mentoring, and individualised support, ensuring their professional growth.- Manage campaigns and communication strategies that drive behavioural change and raise awareness of key safety issues.- Collaborate across teams and lead by example, ensuring best practices and effective governance are followed.

What you bring:

Proven experience leading communication/marketing teams in a high-energy, agile environment.- Expertise in developing and delivering evidence-based marketing strategies that get results.- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across the organisation.- A passion for delivering impactful communication that supports health, safety, and wellbeing.
