Remuneration: $53.53 to $63.16 per hour
About the role
This role provides leadership and direction in the day-to-day operational management of patient services and associated administrative functions including: billing services, inpatient data, medical records, medico legal requests, clinical coding, activity reporting and analysis.
The position leads and manages the operations of the Clinical Information Services team to facilitate delivery of quality, cost effective services and the achievement of business and service objectives.
About you
Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience in patient information services.
Demonstrated leadership skills to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture and lead change.
Advanced business analytics and knowledge of performance data and activity reporting including advanced skills in excel and other MS Office application and patient management systems.
Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach.
Demonstrated ability to provide input, interpret, monitor, and evaluate policies, procedures and standards.
Patient administration systems knowledge and skills for patient registration private election and health policy procedures.
Strong organisational and time management skills to enable the completion of high-volume workload and meet deadlines.
