The position of Operations Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of safety, performance, resourcing, and team leadership for specified operational areas and/or operational processes.
This is a leadership position that has a particular focus on ensuring the consistent application of standards, attitudes, and behaviours within the team environment, at line and peer group level.
Critical to this role is the ability to plan and coordinate daily activities and hold team members to account. Further this position plays an important role in achieving daily KPI’s and identifying/ actioning process improvements, along with engaging support from other functional leads.
What you’ll do
Safety Leadership - Ensure that all team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and safety standards.
Team Leadership and Coordination - Proactively lead the team, setting and maintaining work standards and behaviours, holding team members to account. Lead by example and Put Safety First!
Operational Performance - Ensure daily and weekly KPI’s are updated and reviewed in accordance with MOS and review and improve processes and ways of working.
Putting the Customer First - Always consider the impact on customer and collaborate with other functions and customer service to resolve delivery issues and customer queries.
