2 Ongoing, permanent positions available at Kew Recycling Centre
1 x Full-time (Mon-Fri: 8am to 4pm) and 1 x part-time (Sat & Sun: 10am-2pm)
$66,365 per annum (pro-rata) plus super
A little bit about the role
You will be the first point of contact for our Boroondara residents, contractors and the general public who enter the Council’s Recycling Depot at Kew. This requires exceptional customer service in a front-facing role based at Kew and may also be required at our Riversdale Depot gatehouse.
Please note in your application which position you are applying - weekdays or weekend.
Duties undertaken by the site attendant included, but were not limited to, the following:
Inspecting materials for acceptance
Guiding customers on what can and can't be disposed of
Assist so that the facility provides universal accessibility
Ensure customers are not entering the Depot ground
Cashier for Riversdale (if required) - collect transfer station fees and assist in balancing as required.
