We currently have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team based at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide. Working closely with the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contract requirements and other internal controls. Support the business with budget control rostering, inventory and equipment management and first line contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you can also expect to be involved in the advancement of our Health and Education Contract; from innovating processes, to assisting on a variety of internal projects.
What you’ll do The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
Understand and support delivery of operational requirements within the Standards, and completion times as defined within the contract.
Ensure that adequate staff are rostered and available to cover positions or level of service as directed.
Outcomes are achieved and roster managed with budgeted hours as a minimum.
Ensure services are completed in accordance with SA Cleaning Standards, operating procedures and within agreed timeframes.
Actively seeking ways to improve work efficiency and identify areas where opportunities for business improvements can be realised.
Maintain nominated areas in a clean state in accordance with the specified work schedules and cleaning systems.
What you’ll bring
Experience in managing / leading teams within health care environment or similar.
Managing large teams of employees within Enterprise Agreements.
Experience in service improvement / change management and worked towards contractual KPIS.
Knowledge of current industry cleaning and auditing practices, within a healthcare environment would be beneficial.
Experience working within regulated and/or contracted cleaning service specifications.
