Description:
This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation where delivering a nutritional offering to the indigenous community is an integral part to our business objectives. You will be a highly motivated person with a passion for health and have experience delivering quality information and training to our frontline employees.
The role which will be based in Darwin will require extensive travel throughout Outback Stores' network of retail outlets across Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia. You will deliver training and advocating the nutritional programs to our employee’s working in remote communities.
We are looking for someone who’s organisation skills will be exceptional and have the ability to form strong bonds with current employees, stake holders and have the passion to want to make a difference in health in indigenous communities around Australia.
We are seeking a person that enjoys remote travel and the challenge that being remote can bring. You will be a person who is determined to make a difference and you will be able to provide regular feedback and ideas for continuous support and improvement in the indigenous community.

Skills and Experiences:
To be successful in the role you will have:
Outback Stores desire our Nutritionist, to have a range of skills that are transferable to our team environment, this includes:
Skills:
- Post graduate qualification or Batchelor in Nutrition or Dietetics as recognised by the Dietitians
- Australia, Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) program;
- Relevant health experience and good knowledge of current Dietetics and Nutrition Practices.
- Hold (or able to obtain) Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate.
- Current unrestricted driver’s license
- Minimum two-years’ experience in a health promoting role (highly recommended but not essential).
- Experience in working effectively with those of diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- Self-motivated & able to manage own workload.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, with the ability to learn new software.
