Support NDIS participants in activities of daily living including personal care, social support, domestic assistance, in accordance with the support plan. Tasks include but not limit to: -Assistance with attending appointments. -Assistance with attending social activities, group activities, gym and other fitness activities. -Assistance with domestic tasks, grocery shopping, tidying up, cleaning and meal preparation. -Assistance with communicating with other support services. - Promote participant choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the participant. - Support participants to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks. To be successful for this position you will require: A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support or enrolled in related studies. Enrolled in allied health studies such as social work, psychology, physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Experience working with people with disability.
