Purpose of your role As a Manager, Cash Management you will be responsible for overseeing a global Cash Management team, working in conjunction with the Global Head of Banking and Payments and the COO Leadership Team. As this will be a new team within OFX, currently comprising of two people, you will be responsible for ensuring there are clearly defined goals for the team globally and that the right structure, processes and reporting are in place. There will also be a key focus on establishing an operating model for cash management to support the ongoing migration of existing OFX clients onto the Saa S / New Client Platform (NCP), ensuring all regulatory requirements continue to be met, funds movements are completed in a timely and accurate manner and no significant delays are experienced by clients due to funding shortages. You will also be responsible for defining the go forward strategy for Cash Management globally to ensure OFX is well positioned to meet the changing environment in which we operate, including changes to regulatory environments, Safeguarding, collateral management and maximization of interest earnings. What you do
Define and prioritise the objectives of the Cash Management function to align with organisational goals.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation to implement new processes that meet business needs while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
Develop and maintain procedures to support both OFX 1.0 (legacy) and 2.0 (NCP) platforms, ensuring compliance and adequate funding to prevent delays in client payment execution.
Enhance reporting capabilities within the cash management program, focusing on seasonal and event-driven safeguarding trends and cash cycle management.
Partner with the Treasury team to create funding and modeling reports that facilitate efficient cash management in response to evolving client practices in the 2.0 environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish processes and reporting systems that enable multiple liquidity runs globally within the same business day.
Work closely with the Group Head Office and, when necessary, the COO to ensure business needs are met and any deviations from plans are promptly escalated.
Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential challenges within cash management operations.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in cash management to drive continuous improvement.
Conduct regular cross-jurisdictional meetings to foster effective communication and collaboration among teams in different regions.
Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for direct reports and hold regular meetings to discuss their progress and address any challenges.
Provide ongoing mentorship and practical support to all members of the Cash Management team, fostering their professional growth and development.
Promote a culture of accountability and transparency within the team, encouraging open dialogue and feedback.
Qualifications What you bring
Minimum of 5-7 years in an FX-related role, with a strong emphasis on Cash Management and/or Liquidity Management.
Comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange markets, including terms and pricing calculations.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to leverage these tools for reporting and analysis.
Exceptional attention to detail with a high work rate and minimal error count.
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage deadlines efficiently.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in foreign exchange and liquidity management.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs, having a high tolerance to a fast-paced environment where shifting priorities can present from time to time.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Proven experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Track record of building and developing high-performing teams that achieve business objectives.
Enthusiastic and motivated approach to work, demonstrating initiative and a results-oriented mindset.
