Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator – 12mth parental leave cover (Sydney or Melbourne)

Role Detail
Reporting to the Sydney based Talent & Capability Manager, this 12mth parental leave provides a rare entry position into a highly regarded and inspiring L&D team, where you will learn and grow in a supportive environment.
Working closely to support the wider Talent & Capability team, this pivotal role is responsible for supporting national and local L&D programs and initiatives in terms of:
  • Administration
  • Logistics
  • Reporting
  • General learner management system maintenance
  • Liaising with internal presenters/stakeholders and some external providers
  • Providing general assistance to other members of the T&C team with for example, milestone programs and other adhoc tasks
This role supports Partner Learning Labs, Flourish (a unique leadership development program); Graduate Experience Program; Emerging Leaders and other key L&D initiatives. You will gain access to all areas of the firm!

  • A passion for the L&D space, supported by a few years practical experience, perhaps in administration, in a professional environment
  • An ability to prioritise, organise and schedule work effectively and at times manage competing timelines
  • Proactive approach with an ability to anticipate and plan for impending issues and activities
  • Calm and positive attitude when addressing “urgent” and challenging requests from internal stakeholders
  • Solution focussed approach with effective interpersonal skills in order to develop excellent professional working relationships with partners, teams and external providers
  • Impactful communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical capability to assist with users/queries for L&D systems, and an ease with upskilling in systems as an early adopter of new technologies
