Ernabella Anangu School is located in the beautiful central Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands community of Pukatja. We are the biggest school and community on the APY Lands, home to the world-famous Ernabella Art Centre.

We are seeking a Coordinator of Bilingual Futures to join the leadership team and to support the growth of our students. The Bilingual Future Coordinator works across our Birth-12 site working with Anangu Educators to build capacity and confidence as leaders of learning. Effective team teaching is a goal for each learning space; we work to provide appropriate learning experiences both on and off site. Engaging with community members and external service providers is important to achieve our goal of our children and young people walking confidently in both worlds

This is a great opportunity for an experienced coordinator, or a passionate teacher ready to make the next move in their career. The successful applicant will demonstrate experience in working with Anangu educators and supporting with teaching programs.

In addition to the salary, the following financial incentives apply:
Country Zone Allowance of $10,023
Locality Allowance of $9,669

Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the APY Lands, as per the local Aboriginal Community Council (APY - Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Executive Board)
To ensure employer compliance of duty of care responsibilities given the unique environment of the APY Lands, a wellness check will be conducted for any leader nominated for this position and prior to any offer of employment.
