The Opportunity
KBR is one of four Major Service Providers for defence. Partnered with EY to form KEY team, we are recognised as a reliable and trustworthy partner for defence.
Integral to this reputation are our Integrated Work Package (IWP) Leaders. As a Canberra-based IWP Program Lead you will be responsible for the leadership of a multi-disciplinary team and the delivery of outcomes-based projects.
Reporting to the MSP Account Director, this role has responsibility for project planning and delivery, resource planning and management, reporting and people and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Onsite subject matter expert for the customer and can identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, growth of the account and ensure the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
- Plan, organise, coordinate and control outcome-based delivery projects and programs in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
- Foster and maintain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders at all levels including headquarters and other dependent projects.
- Ensure reliable project delivery, while balancing KBR commercial objectives.
- Apply an understanding of the ecosystem into which the program is being delivered to identify and lead change –irrespective of scope– to achieve overall outcomes.
- Undertake Project Management Strategy and Analysis to establish future documentation and plans to support the capability and deliver outcomes to the customer.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Extensive project and program management experience, with a particular focus on exceptional delivery of outcomes.
- Project/Contract management or professional consulting experience.
- Strong customer and people engagement, relationship and communications skills.
- Exceptional organisation and coordination skills.
- Defence Industry experience.
- Relevant degree/qualifications preferred.
- Current Defence security clearance at NV1 or above.
- Ability to access ITAR material.
