The Head of Operational Assets and Services will be responsible for partnering strategically with the business to deliver service excellence across Group Flight Training Assets (flight simulators, fixed training devices and emergency procedure equipment), Group Ground Support Equipment (GGSE), and Transport (bussing) functions. This key role oversees all aspects of business operations including leading large, geographically dispersed teams, safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance and operational performance. With a strong focus on frontline engagement, operational reliability and strategic business partnering, you will be a strong communicator, experienced in dynamic operations and navigating complex environments to drive service excellence, safety, quality and operational standards to position the business for continued success.
What you’ll bring to the role:

12+ years experience in senior operational roles within aviation, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, or related industry
Broad experience in a range of operational contexts and demonstrated ability to solve business issues across operational units.
Proven ability to lead a technical workforce in an operational context to drive organisational improvement within a complex business environment
Collaborative and responsive leadership style, demonstrating ownership, accountability and a commitment to team development and engagement
In-depth understanding and experience with safety systems and compliance
Commercially astute with the ability to influence key stakeholders and meet strategic objectives, through a solid understanding of core business principles and drivers
Proven ability to lead and mobilise individuals and teams through change
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior management and regulators
Proven track record in strategic planning and successful execution of large programs of work, with a vision that encompasses immediate and future objectives.
