FULL TIME

Group Executive Producer

Mamamia is Australia's largest independent women's media group and our core purpose is to make the world a better place for women and girls. We reach seven million women each month across written, video and social platforms and we have the largest women's podcast network in the world with 55 different shows.
About the role
As the Group Executive Producer, you'll be at the helm of podcast production for a range of shows on the Mamamia network. You'll oversee the end-to-end content creation process, working closely with the Head of Content and Chief Content Officer to bring the content strategy to life. This role involves managing each podcast like a brand within the broader network, focusing on audience growth, engagement, and overall performance.
You'll play a key part in shaping the future of Mamamia's podcast ecosystem, driving the success of multiple shows and ensuring they align with the company's vision.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
  • Leading the production of a suite of podcasts from concept to delivery
  • Developing and implementing innovative content strategies for audience growth
  • Collaborating on cross-promotional and marketing initiatives to amplify reach
  • Managing and mentoring a team of talented podcast producers
  • Analysing performance metrics to continuously improve show quality
  • Creating opportunities for strategic partnerships and branded content solutions
  • Scouting and developing relationships with diverse podcast talent
  • Approving final audio, content, and ensuring compliance before distribution
About you
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in podcast, TV, or radio production
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful content strategies across multiple shows
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing creative talent
  • Excellent understanding of podcast industry trends, audience analytics, and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience in securing commercial partnerships and sponsorships in the media industry
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback to talent and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in implementing cross-platform marketing and distribution strategies to drive audience growth
About us
We're fast-paced and innovative, with a collaborative culture when it comes to industry-leading strategies and ideas.
We're small enough that you can create real and tangible change, and have your voice heard, and large enough that we can support your ideas with experienced, industry-leading teams, and deliver them to an audience of millions of women every month. We have a startup spirit within a scaled-up business structure.
The core purpose of Mamamia is to make the world a better place for women and girls, and we live this philosophy in the content we create and with the work we do. While our core purpose informs every business and content decision we make, we execute on our purpose in a way that's engaging, entertaining and adds meaning and value to the lives of Australian women.
As well as being a meaningful and dynamic place to work, Mamamia offers:
  • Flexible working conditions (Hybrid working model)
  • A day off to celebrate your birthday
  • Additional leave for years of service, plus annual rewards to celebrate your work anniversaries
  • Paid parental leave
  • Enjoy 2 paid volunteer days to support Rize Up, our charity partner.
  • The opportunity to work for a purpose-driven company and help us make the world a better place for women and girls.
  • Access to MOVE by Mamamia-our exclusive platform offering a range of workouts you can do anytime, anywhere, with no equipment needed.
Mamamia is an equal opportunity employer, all applicants will be considered regardless of your race, sexuality, religion, colour, gender identity, or parental status.
