The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Ground Support Officer to provide essential logistical support to Care Flight's operations in the Northern Territory. This role involves working up to 12-hour shifts (day and night) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of aeromedical missions and base operations.
Key Responsibilities

Participate in daily briefings and ensure effective communication across teams.
Assist with aircraft support, including cleaning, equipment replenishment, and patient offloading.
Support medical crews with transportation and patient road transfers.
Manage company fleet and maintain operational facilities.
Handle essential deliveries and collections, including medical supplies.
Assist with ad hoc missions, such as military deployments.

What you'll bring

Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in basic computer tasks, record-keeping, and minor maintenance.
Physically capable of handling demanding tasks in challenging environments.
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Essential Requirements

Ability to obtain an Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC) and Authority to Drive Airside (ADA).
Working with Children’s Card (also called Ochre Card) or ability to obtain.
Comply with Care Flight’s Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) as required by CASA and may be subject to random workplace testing.
Comply with Care Flight’s immunisation & vaccination policy.
