Job Opportunity: Handyperson at Perks Industries – Kimberley Region
Are you a skilled handyperson looking for a dynamic role in a unique and beautiful part of Australia? Perks Industries, a leading property owner in the stunning Kimberley region, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team. We manage a range of properties, and we're looking for handypersons to help us maintain our buildings, grounds, and facilities to the highest standards.

Derby is a town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It is 220 km from Broome, 903km from Kununurra, 2,197 km from Perth and 1,533 km from Darwin. The climate is hot and semi-arid. Please become familiar with the location and climate before applying for the position. Previous remote living is a positive.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all round general property maintenance
- Replacing light bulbs
- Painting/patching interior and exterior surfaces
- Perform minor plumbing works such as replacing washers
- Perform minor carpentry works such as furniture and cabinetry repairs
- Mowing lawns and minor landscaping duties
- Waste removal
- AQF Certificate I or equivalent, or relevant on-the-job experience (formal qualifications not always required)
- Ability to complete minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Experience in painting, basic carpentry, and groundskeeping
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
