First Nations Programs - Team Leader - Cultural Programs
About the role Working within the ARRCS First Nations Program team, ARRCS are actively sourcing a First Nations Team Leader – Cultural Programs to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is based in Darwin and will see you working to deliver, support and mentor the ARRCS First Nations programs to support the delivery of our Reconciliation Action Plan. You will work with the Regional Manager and support a small team of Cultural Specialists who provide mentoring and guidance within our Aged Care facilities. This role would ideally suit a candidate who is experienced in advocating and promoting of First Nations programs ideally within a Healthcare environment. You will be familiar with budget management, government funding models, staff management and most importantly be passionate about advocating employment and knowledge for First Nations within Aged care.

Annual pay increases in accordance with our current Enterprise Agreement.

Skills & experience To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Community Services or similar discipline.
Proven experience in a similar organizational role with demonstrated experience of achieving growth and business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in coordination, sourcing, management and implementation of the organization’s pathways and entry level programs, specifically: Indigenous Employment Programs.
Ability to reflect on own performance and seek guidance when required.
Ability to problem solve and use initiative to maximize positive outcomes.
Evidence of a current unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
