Clairvaux Mac Killop College is seeking a Part Time Finance Officer to join our college community.
If you:
- Have previous finance experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and end of month processes
- Have a passion for debt collection and pride yourself on your calm, pastoral and empathetic manner and would find job satisfaction in working with our college families to help them repay their college fees within their means
- Are looking for a very flexible role for 12 hours per week, preferably school hours but could also work additional hours to cover illness or holidays as needed

The successful applicant will be supporting our existing team of 2 finance officers with reconciliations, debt collection, accounts payable processes and more. They are required to demonstrate their competency in finance as well as their ability to follow up on outstanding debts and establish a successful process for the collection of college fees within the catholic ethos.
A major focus of the role is one of attitude - the Finance Officer is required to possess a helpfulness of spirit, flexibility, and excellent customer service skills.
- Finance qualifications would be considered highly desirable
- Previous experience in a finance role is essential, particularly accounts payable with account coding and reconciliations,
- excellent organisational skills
- demonstrated initiative
- ability to work with limited supervision
- great attention to detail, confidentiality and discretion are all essential attributes for this position
- Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel
- Working knowledge of e Minerva and/or D365 would also be highly regarded.
