Supported by major local and international institutions, the company is well established in the property finance market and ongoing growth has now led to a need for a sharp and motivated Assistant Finance officer.
Role Overview
The Assistant Finance Officer (AFO) is responsible for providing general administrative support to the finance team including, daily download of bank statements and reconciliation of bank accounts to the system transaction reports, booking journals and assisting with accounts payable.
Key Accountabilities
- Daily bank reconciliation to system reports
- Preparing daily reports for cash movements
- Processing of BPAYs received, posting journals and committing group reconciliations
- Processing credit card payments
- Assist in the management of day-to-day financial operations, including data entry and accounts payable
About You
- Minimum of 1 years work experience in a finance or administration role within an office environment
- Exceptional attention to detail around accuracy
- Positive “can do” attitude while showing initiative and ownership
- Genuine interest in developing a career in Finance/Accounting with an ability to learn quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
