Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a FIFO Laundry Technician - Electrical to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We're seeking an Australian Qualified Electrician who has strong fault-finding and repair experience on both domestic and commercial appliances. This role provides you with an opportunity to work on diverse machinery as our Technical Services team are the trades people of Yulara. You will have the opportunity to become a true specialist in the field as the closest contracting partner is 5 hours away!

We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, an Australian Open Driver's License is required for all our trades roles.

Key Duties

• Provide a full range of mechanical/electrical maintenance support and ensure Voyages laundry facilities and machinery function to their maximum efficiency with minimal disruption in output.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic and commercial laundry equipment.
• Completing repairs plus preventative maintenance services to all laundry equipment, including washers, dryers.
• Assisting in the configuration and installation of new machinery.
• Maytag & Speedqueen machines – Highly Desirable
• Laundry Equipment experience – Essential

You'll have access to the onsite gym and receive a contractor's card to visit our Outback Hotel on your days off.

This is a permanent opportunity as a FIFO Tradesperson, seeing you working 10-hour shifts.
