About Your Role: Electronics Communications Technician
Join our dynamic Secure Communications & Information Systems (SC&IS) team in Rydalmere. We're looking for a skilled Electronics Communications Technician to assist with the design, installation, and testing of communication systems for Australian Defence projects.
Hours: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm but flexible!
Key Responsibilities:
Develop installation documentation
Install project-specific equipment
Test new installations for compliance and safety
Set up electronic and communication equipment for system testing
Ensure quality and mentor other team members
Your Skills:
AQF Cert/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Systems (or studying)
Hands-on experience with communication/electronic systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Understanding of configuration management
Knowledge of fibre optic cabling and testing
Bonus: Occasional interstate travel
