The Location
This position is based in our Cooma Office, working a Monday to Friday roster.
The Role
As the Document Controller, you'll oversee the development, review, and upkeep of document control systems, ensuring that all project information, correspondence, and documentation are current and accessible to the project team promptly and comprehensively. You will manage one direct report and offer process guidance and support to the broader document control team across various functional areas.
This position will be a fixed term contract, covering 9-12 months parental leave.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring the accuracy of all project registers and information systems, particularly Aconex, regarding Contractors' document submissions, drawings, scope and design variations, and quality inspections.
Overseeing the control and distribution of all relevant project documents.
Ensuring receipt and distribution of controlled copies of information, and monitor, distribute, and reconcile formal document submissions from Contractors.
Assisting in preparing regular project reports.
Providing administrative support for the project as directed by leadership.
Implementing efficient document control registers and procedures related to the project.
Training team members and other project teams on proper project documentation procedures and standards.
Communicating effectively and promptly with a wide range of Contractors, Stakeholders, and colleagues.
You'll Bring To The Team:
The successful applicant will possess established experience in maintaining and reviewing document control systems with preferred experience in Aconex. Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to establish effective working relationships. The ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision when required and a flexible attitude is a must.
