We are currently seeking a Male DJ Music experienced Support Worker in the Hillman area who would be excited to join our growing NDIS team. The support worker provides individualised support services to the person requiring support who experience intellectual disability. He is interested in DJ music and like to participate in social and recreational activities. The participants will have an individually funded support NDIS plan. The NDIS aims to provide people with choice and control over how, when and where those supports are provided. This opportunity involves outreach work in the local community; therefore, a full driver’s license and reliable vehicle is needed. The successful candidate will be required to use their private motor vehicle for transporting participants, while delivering supports or services. The position requires availability for 1 day a week (possibly 2) Thursday or/and Tuesday, with school after hours shifts lasting 2 hours. Casual position - $41.70 an hour +super+ 1st aid + Laundry & Vehicle allowances Will need to meet with the participant and build a rapport and trust, and with parents to ensure they are comfortable with the support worker Please only apply if you:

Have the required Pre-employment checks – NDIS workers screening, police check working with children check
Completed a Certificate III in disabilities
A genuine commitment with demonstrated skills or knowledge working with people experiencing intellectual disabilities
Mental health training
