Disability Support Worker
Abundant Living provides innovative and reliable person-centred support for people living with a disability. Support Workers in our accommodation services assist customers to become more independent, both at home and in their community. As a Support Worker your responsibilities will include:
Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Mentor and Develop Skills: Guide customers in exploring and developing their interests and hobbies.
- Coach Independent Living Skills: Support customers in learning skills such as cooking, domestic chores, and social interactions.
- Administer Medication: Follow individual support plans to administer medication and other personal care needs.
- Documentation: Complete accurate handover notes and incident reports.
- Provide Personal Care: Assist with personal care needs such as toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing as required.
- Facilitate Community Engagement: Help customers participate in community programs and recreational activities.
Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Shift work
- First Aid Certification (Required)
- Working with Children Check (Required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required)
- National Police Certificate (Required)
- Driver Licence (Required)
- Australia (Required)
