Your opportunity As a Customer Support Officer, you’ll support and empower clients of all backgrounds. Working side by side with people who go the extra mile, you’ll also love the feeling of helping children and adults who need us. Here’s how you’ll do it:
Providing an exceptional customer experience where customer needs are understood, appropriate services offered, and client questions are answered
Undertake outbound call activities focusing on segmented client groups
Contact existing clients by telephone to discuss their hearing needs and book them into an appointment. Negotiate a future contact point for customers not currently ready to make an appointment
Develop brand awareness of Hearing Australia’s products by actively marketing Hearing Australia through phone contact with clients and prospective clients
Appointment programming - Book clients into a scheduled appointment diary and provide details to clients of appointment particulars (time, location)
Performing accurate and comprehensive client database and record keeping activities
Record detailed client responses to the campaign, product or service offered
Ensuring compliance with all relevant privacy, health data and security legislation
What you’ll bring We believe the successful candidate will thrive in a client centred environment where they can provide exceptional and friendly service in conjunction with managing complex medical administration. You’ll bring
Previous experience in a customer service role
Competent computer skills
Understanding of administration processes
Excellent verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge
Positive attitude
Listening ability
Proficiency in standard computer applications
Prior knowledge/experience in Customer Service or services sector highly advantageous
Previous experience in sales, customer service or in a Call Centre – desirable but not essential
