As the Communications Officer, you will:
- Support the development and execution of high-quality internal and external communication strategies and plans aligned with the Commission's mission, vision, and values.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while offering strategic, solution-focused communication guidance.
- Prepare the delivery of the annual content plan, identifying pro-active opportunities and innovative ways to deliver the Commission's key messages across its owned platforms.
- Develop content for a variety of traditional and digital platforms including but not limited to; online copy; social media content; stakeholder comms; marketing materials; event support; sponsorships; speech writing; publications; and other communications content as required.
- Act as brand champion across the Commission, ensuring the style guide is understood and appropriately applied across the organisation's work.
- Coordinate and monitor the delivery of collateral, including identifying business unit needs, managing inventory and relationships with printers and other suppliers.
- Support evaluation efforts to measure the effectiveness of communications plans and activities, and undertake other reporting activities.
- Use awareness of the latest technologies, techniques, and networks to suggest innovative and improved communication services and tactics.
