ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This diverse, business-facing permanent position offers the opportunity to engage not only with Finance divison but also across the broader ANZ business. As a critical member of the Specialised Nutrition Finance team, you will be responsible for key controlling and reporting requirements. You will also play a pivotal role in cross-functional teams, supporting various departments on value-added activities, informing decision-making, and contributing to business deliverables.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Controlling: Controlling and reporting trade and marketing spend, performing month-end financial tasks, and maintaining pricing conditions in SAP.
Reporting: A&P, Topline and mid-month trend reporting in Magnitude, preparing regional monthly end and forecast reports, maintaining and sharing monthly business reporting, and submitting quarterly Tender reports.
Business Partnering: Supporting A&P spend planning and budget management, assisting with annual Brand Planning, supporting on monthly sales target delivery and trade spend management, preparing P&L for tender submissions, and offering ad hoc financial support as required by the business.
Business Cases: participating in cross-functional teams for NPD delivery, supporting business case preparation, partnering with project leads for post-evaluation and sharing of key learnings.

About you You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for finance and business partnering. With strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you thrive in cross-functional environments. Your ability to analyse data, provide insightful reports, and support decision-making processes makes you an invaluable asset to any team. You are proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the success of our organisation.

Ideally you will have:

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant business experience in a business facing role. Experience in an FMCG/Retail environment an advantage.
Advanced Excel and strong Power Point skills
SAP, Power BI experience is beneficial and prior TTM system knowledge/exposure an advantage
University accounting degree, major in commerce or accounting preferred
CA / CPA / CIMA qualified or working towards one of these qualifications.
Ability to prioritise multiple deliverables and stakeholders within tight timelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
