About the Role:
The Manager, Preschool/Small School Financial Services administers and implements financial policy and standards that ensures the delivery of an efficient and effective financial management service to preschools and small schools within the Department for Education. This requires the Manager to lead a team to undertake the financial transaction processing, financial/budget management and financial reporting of approximately 270 preschools and 50 small schools, with the intention of the improving the financial operations of the site and to support the Departmental and Government objectives.
Qualifications:
Essential: A tertiary qualification in accountancy, finance, business management, other relevant field or equivalent experience.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO8 $121,107 - 125,679 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
