Administration Officer, Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN)

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably skilled and experienced Administration Officer wanting to work one day per week in a vibrant and committed team working to prevent and respond to victims of violence, abuse and neglect (PARVAN).

Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 30 June 2025 (with possibility of ongoing employment)
Position Classification: Administration Officer (Level 3)
Remuneration: $33.30 - $34.34 per hour
Hours Per Week: 8

What you'll be doing

This administration position is responsible for the efficient reception, administration of the Northern Sydney PARVAN (Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect) Services. A key feature of this position is the interface with and support of service delivery to clients and NSLHD Health workers contacting the service. This position has frontline, first point of contact responsibility for the Northern Sydney PARVAN Service. This role works under the direction of the PARVAN Administration Team Leader.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Aptitude for and demonstrated experience working in a customer service environment, including skill in dealing with distressed, traumatised and demanding client situations.
  • Demonstrated capacity to self-manage and perform within a multi-disciplinary team and ability to be flexible in duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise problem solving skills using reference to established methods and procedures.
