At AES we are looking for a Network Architect
Responsibilities:

Design and architect network solutions for diverse projects, ranging from small-scale deployments to enterprise-wide infrastructure upgrades.
Explore emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to our organization's network architecture and security, keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Lead the implementation of network designs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration.
Provide expert advice and guidance on network security related matters, including but not limited to routing and switching, data center networking, cloud connectivity, and security tools.
Develop comprehensive network design documentation, including high-level diagrams, detailed specifications, and implementation plans.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and align network architecture with business objectives.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing network infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in network architecture and design, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Deep understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and SD-WAN.
Extensive experience with firewalls and network equipment from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Palo Alto Networks.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams through all stages of the project lifecycle.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Industry certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Proven experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
