To further strengthen our team of consultants working on improving the production of fruits and vegetables in Vietnam, we are looking for a Senior Aquaculture Consultant to be based at our Cantho office.

Summary of responsibilities

• Assist the Aquaculture Project Manager with the coordination and implementation of project activities.
• Work directly with project partners
• Coordinate and develop network of local partners and third parties.
• Supervise the team of aquaculture specialists

I. Key organizational relationships

• Report to: Aquaculture Project Manager
• Supervise: Aquaculture Specialists

II. Specific duties and responsibilities

• Act as a pivot point for the implementation of aquaculture projects and execution of company strategy.
• Plan project activities with department manager and lead execution.
• Supervise all aquaculture specialists in the execution of consultancy projects and R&D.
• Support department manager in developing the team of aquaculture specialists.
• Report progress, discuss issues and develop action plans with manager.
• Coordinate communication, activities and events with local partners.
• Maintain and develop network of local partners to ensure the good implementation of projects and the company strategy.

III. Desired qualifications

Minimum Educational Requirement:

• MSc. degree in the field of aquaculture
• 3 years experience

Language

• Vietnamese and English required
• Excellent in both verbal and written communication
