About Us:
The International Office at UEA is a vital part of our Admissions, Recruitment, and Marketing service. Our mission is to promote the University and attract talented international students from around the globe.
Your Role:
As a Recruitment Officer, you will focus on recruiting students from Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, and potentially other Southeast Asian countries. You'll work closely with the Regional Manager for Southeast Asia to implement strategic recruitment activities and market UEA effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, with flexibility for evening and weekend work during peak recruitment periods.

Your Role:

- Travel internationally to attend education fairs and visit schools, colleges, and student recruitment agents.
- Develop and execute country-specific recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with education agencies and manage relationships.
- Provide support and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate travel schedules and logistics for recruitment activities.
- Engage with local alumni, organize reunions, and collect inspiring student stories.
- Education: Minimum degree level.
- Experience: UK higher education experience, working with international students/agencies, and recent experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
- Attributes: Energetic, results-oriented, self-motivated, culturally sensitive, and adaptable.
- Make a global impact by helping students from diverse backgrounds pursue their educational dreams.
- Travel and explore new cultures while representing a prestigious university.
- Collaborate with a dynamic and supportive team.
