Position EHS (Environement, Health and Safety) Specialist
Direct Leader HR Manager
Mission
The EHS Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves conducting risk assessments, training employees, and ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities:
EHS Program Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs and policies.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of EHS policies and procedures.

Risk Assessment and Management:

Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop preventive measures.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.

Training and Education:

Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
Ensure employees are informed of and adhere to EHS policies and procedures.
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with training requirements.

Environmental Management:

Monitor and manage environmental compliance, including waste management, air quality, and water quality.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact.

Health and Safety Management:

Promote a culture of safety and health within the organization.
Implement ergonomic programs to reduce workplace injuries.
Manage occupational health programs, including hearing conservation and respiratory protection.

Emergency Response:

Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
Coordinate and conduct emergency drills and training.
Serve as the point of contact for emergency response activities.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in EHS are a plus.
Minimum 3 years in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing factory.
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
Good communication skill in both English & Vietnamese.
