What's the opportunity?
As our Consolidation Accountant, you will join the Consolidation & Reporting team and will be
working with key management reports and an impressive volume of data.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of the financial information for monthly reporting to C-Level executives.
- Prepare Financial Reports and Variance Analysis: Produce consolidated financial statements under IFRS and analyze monthly variances to provide insights into the performance of the group as a whole, by working closely with subsidiary finance teams.
- Develop and Improve Financial Processes: Proactively identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial consolidation processes, including automating recurring tasks through the consolidation tool.
- Drive Systems Implementation and Optimization: Play a key role in the ongoing implementation and optimization of the consolidation tool, ensuring that the system is used to its fullest potential to improve reporting efficiency.
- Provide comprehensive support to both internal and external audit teams throughout the audit process.
What skills do you need?
- Bachelor of Accounting or similar field.
- 3-5 years experience in Accounting teams, where analysis and reporting, and Reporting area experience is valued.
- High level of attention to detail.
- General understanding of IFRS.
- Advanced Excel user, experience using Power BI is a plus.
- Experience using ERPs, and Lucanet or other consolidation tools is a plus.
- Ability to quickly prioritize in a constantly evolving environment.
- Familiarity with Group-level reporting packages.
- Experience with consolidations, subsidiaries, and international offices is a big plus.
