White Glove box truck appliance deliveries 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE. PLEASE READ ENTIRE JOB POST.
- Delivering and installing appliances and other goods in CT/Mass/New york area Friday - Sunday
-1099 contractor position full time FOR the first 12 months
-AFTER 12 months you will get W2, a weeks vacation, 3/3 personal days and sick days
- Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or tractor-trailer to deliver products to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Load and unload products using pallet jacks or other equipment as needed
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- NO criminal record at all felonies or misdemeanors
- MUST pass a drug Test
-MUST have valid DOT Med card
- Previous experience in route driving or delivery preferred
- Ability to operate a 26 box truck safely and efficiently
- Proficient in using pallet jacks and other equipment for loading and unloading
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds)
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus
