Wheelchair Passenger Agents

GCG Group St Thomas is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 locations across the Caribbean, Central, and Latin America. We are seeking detail-orientated, highly motivated, and talented Passenger Service Agents supporting our Ground Handling operations in Saint Thomas, USVI.

You will be responsible for loading/off-loading baggage, cargo, and mail and completing all other assigned duties under the wing of the aircraft as assigned in a timely manner.
What else will you do?
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To enhance the airport experience for the special needs passenger by creating a positive experience and delivering prompt and professional customer service. The agent is also expected to check on passengers while ensuring their comfort. The agent should also ensure that the passenger gets to the aircraft in a timely manner

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Assisting customers in a friendly and courteous manner
Passengers in wheelchairs have been transported to and from aircraft, or inside the terminal of the airport
Agent assists in ensuring that the passenger has boarded the aircraft
An agent has asked meaningful questions to offer the customer the best solution
The Agent has adhered to ADA requirements, as trained
Passengers are treated with dignity and respect

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS REQUIRED

Clear Communication Skills
Data Entry Skills
Problem Solving Skills
Have Excellent Customer Service Skills
Continuously stand and walk for 6-8 hours.
Push Airline passengers of varying weights.
Ability to lift 70 lbs., push and pull 200 lbs. on an incline.
Ability to work outside in any weather condition.
Be able to bend, stretch, twist, squat, and reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs
Comply with the safety and security regulations as set out in the Goddard Enterprises Limited Employee Handbook.

Qualifications and Experience needed:
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
A valid drivers license is preferred.
A valid Police Certificate of Character.
Proficiency in the English Language (Written and Verbal)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
