Passenger Bus Driver
Job Summary
OB1-LLC are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. We are located in Memphis, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, from home to work, work to home while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and staff.
Hours
You are needed from Monday through Saturday, 6 days a week. Pickup is at home location at 5:20am, heading towards work location. Second pickup is at work location at 4:20pm, heading towards home location. Driving distance will be around 30-40 minutes one way.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week

Duties
- Safely operate a bus or paratransit vehicle according to established routes and schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Proven experience in bus driving or similar roles is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is a plus.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify potential vehicle issues during inspections.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations professionally.
- A valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements for operating a bus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
