Weatherizing homes for Energize CT & Mass Save
Weatherization technician’s are responsible for making residential homes energy efficient. Our day starts with loading supplies into our work trucks at 1 Hartford Square, New Britain CT, then driving to a customer's home and installing insulation/weatherization measures.
This includes but not limited to installing:
We create comfort and help people save money on their heating and cooling bills while lowering carbon emissions!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Benefits:
This includes but not limited to installing:
- Door sweeps
- Weather stripping doors
- Ventilation for attics and bathroom fans
- Air sealing air leaks with a spray foam applicator
- Ventilation chutes in attics
- Loading the insulation hopper with cellulose insulation
- Drilling into and filling exterior walls with insulation
- Blowing cellulose into attic space
