Director of Operations - Shepherd Homes Group (Real Estate Team)

JOB OVERVIEW
As the Director of Operations at Shepherd Homes Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operational efficiency of our real estate team serving Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong blend of organizational prowess, problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and financial acumen. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a proactive mindset, and extensive knowledge of Quick Books. This role requires adeptness in managing administrative tasks, transactions, marketing initiatives, and data analysis to drive informed decision-making and ensure the smooth functioning of our property management activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizational Leadership: Lead and supervise the operational team to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Problem Solving: Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Prioritization: Strategically prioritize tasks and projects to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
Lead Management: Oversee lead generation, qualification, and conversion processes to optimize occupancy rates.
Communication: Facilitate clear and concise communication channels between team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Financial Management: Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, utilizing Quick Books.
Tracking/Projections/Data Analysis: Analyzing data to provide insight and to drive informed decision-making.
Proactive Decision Making: Anticipate potential challenges and opportunities and make proactive decisions to mitigate risks and capitalize on strengths.
Administrative Management: Oversee administrative functions, including documentation, record-keeping, and compliance.
Marketing: Work in conjunction with the Leads and Marketing Manager to continue to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Background in Real Estate or related field REQUIRED
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in property management or real estate.
Extensive knowledge of Quick Books and proficiency in financial management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and address operational challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Real estate license (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
Ability to Commute:
  • Alexandria, VA 22310 (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
  • Alexandria, VA 22310: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Willingness to travel:
  • 25% (Preferred)
