Overview
We seek a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring efficient materials handling, and maintaining high standards of receving and delivery controls. This role is vital for efficiently managing the receipt and distribution of commercial and private goods while ensuring timely shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, moving, and inventory management.
Lead and motivate a team of delivery drivers and warehouse staff to achieve productivity targets and maintain safety standards.
Oversee materials handling processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Assign drivers to their daily delivery schedules.
Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
Implement efficient workflows to improve operational efficiency within the distribution center.
Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Address issues related to warehouse receiving and deliveries as needed.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Forklift Operations
Strong knowledge of 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations and best practices.
Proficient in materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting capabilities.
Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation and maintenance.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as inventory control systems.
Schedule Trucks for maintenance and repairs
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in logistics operations.

Minimum of 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience
Proficiency in inventory management and control

Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
